A little sketch, done to refine a portion of a design for a pierce-work lantern I was never destined to finish. Nevertheless, I'm happy with this: emotions are one of my sticking-points, and I believe I've nailed it in this one. Plus, what fur wouldn't enjoy catching autumn leaves on his or her snout?
